About the Webinar

Which topics? Human Rights Mapping at Fairtrade and HREDD in Fairtrade standards

We are currently developing the manner in which we identify and assess human rights risks in Fairtrade operations and certified supply chains, in order to see where the risks are highest and to continuously improve our interventions. We will undertake the first reformed Human Rights Mapping in 2021.

During this webinar we will look at this system-wide assessment process: Why and how are we doing it? Who will be involved and what will eventually come out of it?

In addition, we will spend a good moment to look at how HREDD can be incorporated to Fairtrade standards. What is our current thinking on HREDD and standards?

Who will guide you through?

Tytti Nahi, Lead of the Fairtrade HREDD Center of Excellence, has years of experience in providing training workshops and webinars to different audiences in the field of business and human rights.

Meri Hyrske-Fischer, Human Rights Coordinator at Fairtrade HREDD Center of Excellence, is specializing in corporate social responsibility and knows well international human rights scenery.

Marike de Pena, Chair of CAN, past president of Fairtrade International and CLAC.
